This page is to help answer some of the most frequently asked questions relating to our Prize Draw. If you do need some help, we recommend reading through this page as it should answer your question. Thank you for your support.

Where do I find my ticket number?

Your ticket number will be emailed to you when you purchase a ticket for your future reference. We will use this when conducting the draw.

If you cannot find it, please check your spam/junk folder in case it ended up there. Ticket numbers are automatically assigned via the online system.

For free entries, they will be allocated prior to conducting the draw.

What is a Share Link?

A share link will be given to you on the entry confirmation page of the website. You can share this on social media and gain an additional free entry to the Prize Draw for everyone who purchases a ticket via your link.

Additionally, for every entry via your link, you will receive a free entry into a separate cash Prize Draw. The winner of this will also be randomly selected on the day of the draws.

How does the draw work?

We will combine all entries from our website, free postal entries and additional entries from share links into one complete entry list.

We will use a random number generator (such as the one available at https://www.random.org/) and select a random ticket number. We will then contact the entrant to inform them they have won. The same process will take place for the secondary cash Prize Draw.

We will ensure the validity of all tickets and data prior to conducting the draw whilst ensuring all entries are accounted for. We will also invite volunteers to witness the draw, and plan to video the draw for entrants to watch. Invited parties will include impartial press and legal professionals.

Are there a minimum amount of paid entries required?

We have set a minimum amount of paid entries of 75,000 to ensure the draw is viable to cover our development costs, donations and additional expenditure. If we do not meet this goal, we will still conduct the draw but offer the winner 80% of the net ticket receipts – a truly life-changing amount of money.

Can the process be independently audited?

If you would like to independently request an audit of the Prize Draw and process, you are welcome to do so providing it is completed no later than 14 days from the closing date.

This process will be at the requester’s own expense and shall be completed by a professional and licensed auditing company. The appointed company will be given the required information to ensure the draw is valid and all entries have been included. They can also check over the number generator, and our entire draw process.

Can I view the property prior to entry?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept viewings for the property prior to entry. The photography and videography on our site have been rendered to show the potential outcome of a fully decorated property. Although the house is unfurnished, we wanted to demonstrate what could be achieved creatively by the lucky winner. We would like to think that the very fair entry price will still encourage you to enter even without seeing the house in person. Our photos have been provided by a local professional photographer, and the property has been independently valued at £84,950 and £89,950 by two local estate agents.

Can I submit a free postal entry?

We permit one free entry per postcard by first class post. For further details see the ‘Entry Options’ menu on our Home Page.
